Home School by the Sea
Curriculum & Schedule
Under Blue Waters believes that kids learn best by exploring the outdoors and our oceans in
an interactive, educational, and adventurous atmosphere
2022 CLASSES ARE RUNNING THURSDAY’S AND FRIDAY’S!
Join us for adventures full of marine science, environmental science, labs, hands-on experiments, water sports including snorkeling, boogie boarding, surfing, paddle boarding, skimboarding, fishing, and more! Throughout a homeschooler’s time with Under Blue Waters, they will be introduced to new interactive, educational marine science topics each session, all while we turn the shoreline into a classroom atmosphere! The children will be taught each lesson on an age appropriate level using educational tools that will be the most beneficial to each age group. They will be learning to help protect our aquatic resources while having the time of their lives making new friends and building confidence in our Florida ocean!
All Homeschool By The Sea classes are fully interactive and always engaging for all ages!
Our first two hours are dedicated to the topic of the day using group discussions, reading passages, photos or tangible objects related to the subject. We understand and embrace that every child learns at different pace! Our instructors use the “say and repeat” method to emphasize keywords as well as rhymes or games to help children grasp concepts. Your child will receive their Certificate of Completion for the daily topic prior to pick-up!
After our sit-down, beachside lesson, it’s time to make a splash and celebrate all we’ve learned!
Student’s who complete 12 classes and earn a special Jr. Marine Biologist Certificate!
Students who complete all 24 classes earn your very own Marine Biologist Certificate!
Can’t make a class? Stay tuned for our newly updated Marine Biologist Adventure Kits that bring the ocean to your doorstep. Pick the topic you need to complete your Marine Biologist Course!
