Under Blue Waters takes on the Islands!

Campers will have the opportunity to discover what it’s like to be a Jr. Marine Biologist while spending the day surrounded by clear blue waters, coral reefs, extraordinary sea creatures and plant life. Each day campers adventure with us, they will have opportunity to learn about and explore the underwater world while gaining new knowledge in the field of marine biology.

Peanut Island makes for an extraordinary habitat of sea creatures and plant life, this is our research laboratory! Our Island Adventure Camp offers learning in a fun and interactive format and addresses critical issues facing our oceans today. With guidance from our marine science staff, the coursework is designed as a hands-on study of Florida aquatic ecology that will challenge our Jr. Biologist. Campers will learn to identify different species of sea life, how sponges filter feed, measure and compare percent coral cover between multiple locations, look at the relationship between land use and water quality around the island and more!

Campers will also have the time of their life gaining experience in exciting water sports like snorkeling, fishing, free diving, paddle boarding, and a DISCOVER SCUBA lesson!
